Enough doing. Take a sacred pause for solstice.
Winter solstice is a week away and ‘tis the season of long nights. We are in the final moments of a long exhale that began back in June. Soon the slow inhale will begin as we emerge from the dark and build toward the light again. In this time of sacred pause, this empty moment between the exhale and the inhale, we have access to something truly magical….if we are paying attention.
No pitch, no sale. Just GRATITUDE
I’ve got no Black Friday Sale to pitch. No Cyber Monday FOMO frenzy designed to part you from your money. No hurry up or you’ll miss your last chance. Nope. Not doing it.
How to be in pleasure with so much suffering?
We come home to our body, the soft animal who loves what it loves. We attune to the senses and let the tastes, sounds, smells, touch and beauty usher us into the present where all our power resides. We tap into pleasure as sustainable fuel to keep us focused, creative, resourced and nourished. So we can do our good work in the world.

Power surges, outages, your personal eclipse
I know about power outages. I live in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California. During fire season, the utility company shuts down power as a preventative measure, sometimes for days on end.
The Change that’s birthing you anew
We’ve just returned from visiting family in Australia for the first time since the pandemic and took a side trip to Bali as well. I felt like I could curl up in Bali’s lap and never leave. It was astoundingly beautiful to be with such open-hearted people in a culture that holds spirituality and nature in such an intimate embrace.
❤️ Be Your Own Lover First ❤️ (Video)
Thinking of you woman of Shakti, lover of Shakti, on this day of love.
However you feel about Valentine’s Day, I think we can all agree that the world is in dire need of a love transfusion. We also know that has to begin with loving ourselves. If you’re like most women I work with, you’re probably exceptionally good at loving others but could use support around how to better love yourself.
